LEH, Apr 30: Ladakh Phanday Tsogspa celebrated its 27th Foundation Day at Bhartiya Vidhaya Niketan here at Choglamsar, Leh, today. The gathering was graced by Dr. Padma Gurmet Ladakh UT President LPT and Prameet Sewa Pramukh RSS Ladakh. Nawang Lotus, president LPT district Leh presents the welcome speech and the social works and programmes done by the Tsogspa like sewing centres, Medical camps, Integration Day etc. Programme started prayer. Speaking on the occasion Dr. Padma said Tsogspa is working from 1992 for the betterment of Ladakh and Ladakhi community and got its registration as trust in 1997 as Ladakh Phanday Tsogspa. Dr. Padma also mentioned Tsogspa will celebrate “Amrit Mahotsav” in 15 villages of Leh to pay tribute to freedom fighters and Martyrs of Ladakh. Addressing the audience the chief guest lauded the selfless services rendered by the Ladakh Phanday Tsogspa in all walks of life over a period of time.
Simultaneously, the Sangh Pracharak congratulated the entire family of LPT for touching yet another successful milestone and expressed his satisfaction over it’s performances in social services which eventually leads to nation building.
Both the speakers recalled the firm pillars of Seva Sanskar and Ekta and wished to further strengthen it in due course of time. Students from various schools participated and presented colourful cultural programme.
