JMC negligence leaves garbage dumps at Gen Bus Stand: NAUP

JAMMU, Apr 30: National Awami United Party (NAUP) has flayed the concerned agencies for not doing their works with responsibility.
During a press conference here today NAUP president, Sandeep Singh said that bus stand is the face of a city which leaves impression on the visiting tourists regarding working of the authorities responsible for maintenance of the building.
“Due to the negligence of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), huge garbage and waste materials are dumped at the open space in general bus stand of Jammu,” he maintained adding: “While the Jammu Development Authority is collecting huge revenue from parking lots and shopkeepers, it pays no attention to maintain beauty of the bus stand where many passengers from all over the India reach for tourism purpose.”
NAUP has appealed to the J&K LG administration to take stern action against those responsible for the negligence.
Parveen Kumar, Balwan Chand, Ravi Kumar and Vishal were also present on the occasion.
