JAMMU, Apr 30: A youth aged around 26-28 years lost his life while another youth suffered injuries in a road accident here at Sangrampur area of Domana on Sunday, officials said.
They said a scooty driven by one Shubham (26-28) of Shahzadpur, Tehsil Marh, and a motorcycle driven by another unidentified youth collided with each other at Sangrampur area today, resulting in injuries to the duo.
“They were taken to Government Medical College Jammu, where one of them, Shubham, was declared as dead on arrival while the other youth is responding to the treatment,” officials said.
“The body of the deceased youth has been shifted to the mortuary of the hospital for conducting the post-mortem,” they further said.
Meanwhile, a case under relevant sections of the law has been registered at the concerned police station and further investigation taken up.
