SAMBA, Apr 3: Two persons committed suicide in two separate incidents in Samba and Kathua districts today.
As per reports a woman committed suicide by hanging herself at Tarore, Bari Brahmana in Samba district today. She was identified Rami Devi, 39, wife of Tara Chand. She was shifted to GMC casualty where the doctors declared her as brought dead. Her body was shifted to mortuary room of GMC for postmortem. The body will be handed over to the family after completing all legal formalities tomorrow.
Meanwhile, as per reports one Mukhtar Chand , 45, of Ramnagar Colony , Kathua committed suicide by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence today. He was shifted to GMC Kathua where doctors declared him as brought dead.
His body will be handed over to family for last rites tomorrow after completion of all legal formalities. The respective police stations have registered cases under relevant sections of the law in both the suicide cases and started investigation.
