JAMMU, Nov 26: Accelerating its activities in Jammu region, Socialistic Democratic Party (SDP) today expressed that state was all set for a major political change.
Addressing a press conference here today the SDP leader Dr Darakhshan Andrabi said that party has geared up its activities in Jammu region also and a door- to- door campaign has been launched by the party activists.
Referring to the present situation, Dr Darakhshan said that people have now changed their mind as they have been betrayed by the dispensation led by Omar Abdullah. There is strong resentment among the people as they have been denied even the basic amenities. The present dispensation has proved failure on all the fronts. She said there was unabated plunder of the Central funds and they are not reaching up to the people for whom they are released. There is no accountability, transparency and justice being meted out to the public. She asked the people to ensure change in the system and exercise their power in the coming elections.
