Complete formalities for Distt Employment Centre: Gul

JAMMU, Nov 26: Speaker, Legislative Assembly Mubarak Gul today directed the Labour and Employment Department to complete all formalities for early construction and completion of work on the District Employment and Counseling Centre, Srinagar at Eidgah.
This direction was given by the Speaker while presiding over a meeting of officers of Labour and Employment Department convened to discuss measures initiated for establishment of   District Employment and Counseling Centre in Srinagar.
He asked the concerned to take-up the matter with the R&B Department for preparation of cost estimates so that the construction work is started soon.
The Speaker said that the establishment of Counseling Centre is the need of the hour as the youth of Srinagar city will avail benefits of the Government schemes launched under SKEWPY and other welfare programmes especially self employment schemes.
He directed the Labour and Employment authorities for conducting employment fair thorough out the State including Eidgah constituency.
The Speaker instructed the Deputy Commissioner, Srinagar  Farooq Ahmad Shah to identify the land for establishment of the office of Deputy Directorate of Employment at Srinagar on priority.
Commissioner/Secretary Labour and Employment B. A. Runiyal and District Development Commissioner, Srinagar briefed the meeting about the measures taken by the administration for establishing District Employment and Counseling Centre in Srinagar.
Secretary Assembly M. Ramzan, Director Employment Dr. Abdul Rashid, Director Jammu and Kashmir Entrepreneurs Development Institute Dr. M.I Parray and other officers attended the meeting.
