KISHTWAR, May 1: One person was killed and two others were grievously injured in two different road accidents here today.
As per police sources a load carrier bearing registration number JK17A-2018 overturned on Kishtwar-Padder road resulting in on spot death of one Mahavir Tanti, son of Jugal Tanti, resident of Paharpur, Ahmadabad. Driver of the vehicle managed to escape from the spot where as another person on board received minor injuries.
Meanwhile, in another accident a van of Eeco make bearing registration number JK06B 5445 rolled down at Bandarkoot leaving one Vijay Kumar, 32, son of Jagdish Kumar, resident of Marmat Doda, injured.
He was shifted to District Hospital Kishtwar for treatment.
