Dr Ritu in association with KD Hospital organises medical camp

JAMMU, May 5: On Buddha Purnima a free medical camp ‘Amanat’ for the inmates of Balgran and Muskan Home was organised here today by Dr. Ritu Singh in association with KD Super Speciality Hospital.

Dr. J.P Singh, Ophthalmology; Dr. Sumit Sharma, CEO; Dr. Pooja Padha, Emergency Physician; Dr. Rupam Gupta, Dental Surgeon and Dr. Sohal Goni, Medical Officer at KD Super Speciality Hospital offered their services to the children and inmates in the camp benefitting 117 children from Balgran and 49 inmates of Muskan Home.
A handout stated that the registered 117 children from Balgran will receive lifelong medical facilities free of cost including inoculation as and when required under the Hospital’s CSR programme.
Dr. Ritu Singh emphasized on the need for collaborative work with hospitals, doctors, nutritionists, educationists and counsellors to provide sustainable support systems for children with special needs, destitute children and the elderly.
She assured to provide academic and co-curricular support to the children like block printing skills, craft works etc on weekly basis to empower them.
President Balgran and In-charge Muskan Home were felicitated by Dr. Ritu with Khadi Certificates and plants as a token of appreciation.
