KATRA, May 6: A Mata Vaishno Devi pilgrim died while four other members of the family were critically injured when a car, they were travelling in, rolled down in Bai Nallah, near Nomain, Katra, this evening.
The victims were travelling in the car, bearing registration number JK21E- 4286, which was on way from Jammu towards Katra when it slipped into Bai Nallah near Nomain.
With the help of Police, the injured were immediately shifted to CHC Katra where one of them was declared as brought dead. The deceased was identified as Kanta Devi (38), wife of Jagbir Singh, resident of Samba.
Other injured were referred to GMC Hospital Jammu for advanced treatment. They were identified as Jagbir Singh (40), son of Jagdev Singh, resident of Samba, his six-year old son Divyapratap Singh, Neeraj Rani (35), wife of Balbir Singh, resident of Basoli and her six-year old son Hardik.
