More political, social organizations condemn killing of soldiers by terrorists in Rajouri

JAMMU, May 6: Several more political as well as social organizations today condemned the recent IED attack executed by the Pakistan sponsored terrorists in Rajouri in which five soldiers got martyrdom.
J&K High Court Bar Association Jammu under the chairmanship of Senior Advocate Vikram Sharma (president, BAR Association Jammu) condemned the recent terrorist attack in forest area of Rajouri. Speaking on the occasion, Parvesh Singh Salaria (general secretary) and Amit Gupta (vice president) urged the Government of India to deal sternly with this menace which is claiming the lives of the brave Indian soldiers. Amit Gupta (vice president). The Bar Association paid tributes to the martyrs who sacrificed his life for the nation and prayed for speedy recovery of the injured soldiers.
All Parties United Morcha (APUM), Jammu also expressed grief over the martyrdom of soldiers. Sheikh Abdul Rehman (e-MP), Ravinder Sharma (INC), Rattan Lal Gupta (NC), Varinder Singh Sonu (PDP), Narinder Singh Khalsa, Akali Dal (A), Hari Singh (CPM), Gian Singh ANC, Sukhdev Singh, Manish Sawhney (SS), Sahid Saleem Mir and ID Khajuria (IDP) and convener APUM said that politics of gun and terrorism of any type should be condemned in human civilization. APUM paid deepest condolences to the families of those who died in the line of nation’s duty.
Condemning the Rajouri killings, Rattan Lal Gupta (provincial president, National Conference, Jammu) expressed grief with the bereaved families and prayed to God to give courage to them to bear this irreparable loss. He said the incumbent Government at the Centre as well as the Union Territory administration has been making tall claims of having ended terrorism and restored peace in J&K while the reality on ground is absolutely contrary to the Government claims.
Senior BJP leader and former Deputy Chief Minister Kavinder Gupta, while condemning the martyrdom of five brave hearts, said that Pakistan will have to pay a heavy price for his misadventures to export terror. Expressing solidarity with the bereaved families of the paratroopers who laid down their lives for the sake of motherland, the BJP stalwart said that time for a decision fight has come and soon the Modi Government will root out terrorism from the soil of J&K.
Condemning the dastardly act of terrorists in Rajouri, Chamber of Commerce & Industry (CCI) saluted and paid homage to the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives in defending the mother land and common man. The Chamber demanded that the terrorists and their ground workers wherever they are operating should be eliminated. The CCI requested the International community to raise their voice against the terrorism of all kinds and urges the UNO to strictly sensor the Pakistan for their open support and promotion of terrorism in J&K.
Expressing anguish over the killings of Army Jawans, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) burnt an effigy of Pakistan and shouted slogans at Dhangari Chowk located on the Rajouri-Kalakot road. They paid tributes to the martyred soldiers. BJYM district president Harish Bharti has asked Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take strict cognizance of this incident. Appealing the Central Government, he said that Pakistan is not a ghost of words, but of kicks, so it should be answered in its own language.
Expressing his anguish over the incident, National Democratic Party Indian NDPI J&K chief Rajesh Gupta said, “I am deeply anguished by the loss of lives of brave Army personnel in a tragic incident at Rajouri. Their rich service to the nation will never be forgotten. My thoughts are with the bereaved families,” he said. Gupta further added the Pakistan will be abrogated by Indian Army very soon.
President of Shri Ram Sena (SRS) J&K Rajiv Mahajan condemned the Pakistan sponsored terrorist attack at Rajouri, resulting in martyrdom of five jawans. He Rajiv Mahajan conveyed his heartfelt condolences to the families of the security personnel who sacrificed their lives in the dastardly act and sympathies to those who got injured. He called upon the J&K as well as Central Governments to sanction adequate ex-gratia relief for the kin of those who lost their lives and compensation for injured.
Jammu Heritage Society also expressed deep sorrow and anguish on the incident. “This cowardly act shows desperation on the part of terrorists and divisive forces from Pakistan,” said Bhuvneshwar Gandotra (president of the Society) in a statement. He said that it is an attempt to spoil the peaceful atmosphere prevailing in our state and to disturb the upcoming Amarnath Yatra.
Various Sikh organizations of J&K in a meeting held under the chairmanship of Mohinder Singh (chief organizer, Bhai Khanayanishkamseva Society J&K and ex-member DGPC Jammu) paid homage to the five brave hearts who got martyrdom in Rajouri. A two-minute silence was observed to pray for the departed souls. An appeal was made to sanction ex-gratia of Rs two crore and job to one member of martyrs’ families.
The workers of Dogra Front & Shiv Sena under the leadership of their president Ashok Gupta held a protest in Jammu city against the attack in the Kandi forest which led to the loss of 5 soldiers. Gupta condemned the “cowardly attack” by Pakistan-sponsored terrorists and said the martyrdom of soldiers should be avenged. He said the Central Government should carry out operations in the hilly areas of Rajouri and Poonch to flush out terrorists and their supporters.
Mission Statehood Jammu Kashmir (MSJK) held an anti-Pakistan protest rally from New Plot to Janipur High Court Chowk, against the killing of 5 Army commandos. Led by their president Sunil Dimple, MSJK activists raised slogans against the Pakistan. He demanded the Government to avenge martyrdom of our five brave hearts and give befitting reply to Pakistan.
Kashmiri Khatri Hindu Maha Sabha also condemned the dastardly act of terrorist attack in Rajouri area. “We expressed sympathies with the bereaved family members of the martyrs and prayed for peace to the departed souls and also conveyed sympathies to the injured, praying for their early recovery,” said Ramesh Chander Mahajan (chairman/ president of the Sabha).
