JAMMU, May 6: The dead body of a young man was today found hanging from a tree in Trikuta Nagar area of city outskirts.
“In mysterious circumstances, the dead body of 19-year-old Manmeesh Kumar son of Babu Ram, resident of Ramnagar, was found hanging this morning from a tree at Railway Ground, Railway East Colony, Trikuta Nagar (Jammu),” police sources said.
They said after getting conducted postmortem at Government Medical College and Hospital (Jammu), the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites while inquest proceeding in this connection was initiated in Police Station Trikuta Nagar.
As per sources, the deceased youth was an employee of a cold drink factory at Bari Brahmana and had joined it about 15 days back.
