Sat, Kapahi kick start construction of drain in Bharat Nagar

Former State president, BJP Sat Sharma alongwith other dignitaries kick starting construction of lane in Talab Tillo area on Sunday.

JAMMU, May 7: Former State president, BJP and Ex-Minister, Sat Sharma (CA) along with district president BJP Jammu, Pramod Kapahi and Corporator Ward 40, Neelam Nargotra kick started construction of drain and paver tiles work in Bharat Nagar area of Talab Tillo in Jammu West Assembly segment today.
BJP media secretary, Dr Pardeep Mahotra, JE JMC Shabab and several others were also present including local residents, political activists and JMC officials.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that it was indeed a long pending demand of the inhabitants which has been met today and he said that the mission behind this was to provide a conducive and clean atmosphere to the society. He said the works of many lanes and drains were taken up during his tenure as MLA and now majority of them are constructed which has helped a lot in achieving the mission of “Jammu-West” as model constituency.
He stated that efforts are still being made to provide every possible assistance to the masses at their doorsteps for which he appealed to the inhabitants to contribute in keeping their surroundings neat and clean. He also stated that providing a neat and clean environment is the motive of Narendra Modi led Central Government and cleanly maintained lanes are the true symbol of a Smart City, he added.
Pramod Kapahi and Neelam Nargotra said that development has reached to every nook and corner under the BJP regime. They said such works were never done before in the Congress led Governments but BJP following the vision of Modi is working on ground to provide best possible assistance to the public. They also hailed the works done by former MLA to improve the overall condition of Jammu West and said that under his leadership, Jammu West excelled a lot in terms of development.
Ex Corporator, Chaman Lal, Praveen Ghai, Rahul Nargotra, Vikas Kumar, Mohan Lal Gupta, Sonali Gupta, Dr Karan Singh, Ajay Gupta, Atul Mahajan, Vishal Mahajan, Supervisor Bhat and several others were also present on the occasion.
