NSF activists submitting a memorandum to JU VC on Thursday.

JAMMU, Nov 28: A delegation of National Secular Forum (NSF) today called on  Jammu University Vice Chancellor Prof Mohan Paul Singh Ishar and presented him a memorandum regarding their demands for  ensuring discipline and security at  the campus, particularly during the off days.
The NSF demanded stringent measures to ensure a complete ban on alcohol in the university hostels for avoiding nuisance on the campus. The VC was also urged to set fixed timing for the walkers and proper dress-code for joggers before and after university hours.
The NSF delegation, led by Sukhdev Singh, also discussed some other issues like proper lighting on the campus and immediate redressal of the   grievances of hostel boarders, who used to face problems.
The Vice Chancellor assured NSF activists that all their demands would  be fulfilled within a short period of time.
Among those who were part of the delegation, included Barket Tahir, Ajaz Shah, Vikram Madhyal, Qayoom Malik, Somraj, Manpreet Kour, Gurdeep Kour, Nitin, Rakesh Kumar, Altaf, Jugal, Pawan, and others.
