RAMBAN, May 8: Police here today recovered the stolen cement bags and dumper worth Rs. 30 lakh.
As per police sources on April 21, 2023, Tanvir Ahmed HR/IC Patel Engineering Company Sangaldan Ind lodged a report at Police Post Ind that some unknown persons entered their construction site and loaded cement bags in a vehicle (Dumper) bearing registration no. JK02CT-6411 and took way the cement along with the Dumper.
A case in FIR no. 47/2023 U/S 379 IPC was registered at Police Station Gool and after developing specific leads a suspect Narinder Singh, son of Durga Dass, resident of Mawalkote, Gool was arrested and during questioning he confessed his involvement in the crime. On his disclosure the stolen material was recovered.
The recovery was made by a police party under the command of PSI Ankush Bhau, Inspector Nazir Ahmed, SHO Gool under the supervision of Nihar Ranjan, SDPO Gool and with the overall supervision of Mohita Sharma, SSP Ramban.
