JAMMU, May 8: The dead body of a painter was found hanging today from a tree in Sidhra area of city outskirts.
As per reports, the 27-year-old Bhanu Kumar son of Neeru Lal, resident of Chattisgarh (presently living in Sidhra area of Jammu), left his makeshift house ‘Jhuggi’ on Saturday evening and since then he was untraced.
His body was found hanging this morning from a tree in a vacant plot near Lawrence Public School, Sidhra by someone who informed the Sidhra Police and a team was rushed to the spot.
The Police team shifted the body to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu and after postmortem, handed over the same to his family members for last rites. The inquest proceeding in this connection was initiated by Police Post Sidhra.
