JAMMU, Nov 28: People’s Democratic Party (PDP) leader and Coordinator for Jammu-Poonch Parliamentary constituency, Abdul Hamid Choudhary today said that accountability, good governance and complete transparency which can only be ensured by PDP, was the need of hour to make the state progress and prosper. Be it industrial, agricultural, educational, power or health and housing – every sector in J&K State has collapsed leaving people in quagmire.
In a statement issued here, today. He said, the state of despair could be gauged from the fact that not only common people but political leaders and workers of ruling elite were feeling isolated and ignored at the hands of rulers. The constituency specific works of ministers have demolished the democracy to the extent that everyone is out there to secure his or her berth in next elections rather than working for people of all three regions of the State without prejudice, he said.
