2 Chemist shops sealed for avoiding CCTV cameras

JAMMU, May 9: The police sealed two Chemist shops for violating District Magistrate’s (DM’s) order to install CCTV cameras at their establishments in Rajouri today.
An official spokesman said that on the directions of Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, a team of Police under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Muddasir Hussain led by SHO Rajouri Shoket Hussain alongwith Executive Magistrate checked Medical shops in Rajouri town.
During checking two Chemist shops were sealed on the spot for violating DM’s order with regard as installation of CCTV Cameras. Two persons/traders were arrested in this connection. They are identified as Riaz Ahmed, son of Abdul Qayoom, resident of Rajouri and
Zaffar Iqbal, son of Lal Hussain, resident of Dhanore Jarala.
The Medical shops which were seized are- Anis Medical shop Rajouri and New Lifeline Medical shop Dhanore Jarala in Rajouri. A case FIR No. 212/2023 was registered in this connection.
