MP reviews progress of CSSs at DISHA meeting of Rajouri

RAJOURI, May 10: Jammu-Poonch Member of Parliament, Jugal Kishore Sharma today chaired the meeting of the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee (DISHA) of Rajouri district to review the progress of various centrally sponsored schemes.
The meeting was attended by several officials, including the ADC Rajouri, DFO Rajouri and Nowshera, ACR, ACD, CPO, PO ICDS, GM DIC, ACP, SE Hydraulics, SE PWD, and other concerned officers. The District member of DISHA, Dr. Nisar Choudhary, also attended the meeting.
During the meeting, detailed deliberations were held on the progress and achievements under different schemes being implemented in various sectors of the district, such as MGNREGA, CRF, NABARD PMGSY, NSAP, SSA, PMJDY, APY, PMJJBY, PMSBY, PMMY, PMUY, PMEGP, Poshan Abhiyan, PM Kisan, KCC, soil health cards, ICPS, BADP, BBBP, NHM, housing for all, PMAY-U, PMAGY, NSAP, ISSS, and other centrally sponsored schemes.
DDC Rajouri, Vikas Kundal gave a PowerPoint presentation on the progress and status of different developmental projects and progress in the implementation of the centrally sponsored schemes being executed and implemented in the district by different agencies.
Jugal Kishore Sharma emphasized the importance of prompt and efficient implementation of the Central schemes and projects in the district. He stressed the need for transparency and accountability in the execution of the projects and urged officers to work with dedication and sincerity towards the development of the district.
The MP also highlighted the need to monitor the progress of centrally sponsored schemes to ensure effective and efficient implementation. He encouraged officers to work in coordination with each other and prioritize projects based on the needs of the people.
Additionally, he urged officers to explore new and innovative ways of implementing these schemes and involve local communities in the decision-making process.
To ensure timely completion of projects and that the benefits of these schemes reach the intended beneficiaries, the MP directed officers to implement schemes in a transparent and efficient manner. He also stressed the importance of consulting with Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs) during the formulation of plans for the implementation of these schemes.
“The involvement of PRIs is crucial for the successful execution of these schemes, and officers should work closely with them to tailor schemes to the specific needs of local communities,” said MP.
He also assured officers of his full support and cooperation in their efforts towards the development of the district and the welfare of its people. By working together and prioritizing the needs of the community, officers can ensure the successful implementation of these schemes and projects.
The MP, while taking stock of the issues raised in the previous DISHA meeting, expressed his satisfaction with the progress made by the District Development Coordination and Monitoring Committee in resolving the issues. He commended the DDC Rajouri, Vikas Kundal, and other officials for their tireless efforts in ensuring the timely completion of projects and schemes in the district.
