JAMMU, May 10: Showing solidarity with the aggrieved Fire and Emergency Department applicants, Sat Sharma insisted for swift course of justice on irregularities in Fire and Emergency Department recruitment.
“Delayed justice is justice denied”, said Sat Sharma, former Housing & Urban Development Minister, J&K, while listening to the deputation of Fire and Emergency Department applicants.
Sat Sharma, former BJP president and former Minister along with former MLA, Ashwani Sharma, JMC councillor and BJP SC Morcha, Seh-Prabhari, Jeet Angral, and BJP State Executive Member (SEM), Shailja Gupta listened to the public grievances at BJP Headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, here.
The deputation alleged large-scale irregularities in the recruitment continuously for a decade. They said that the Jammu and Kashmir administration also constituted a three-member committee to look into irregularities in the selection process in the Fire and Emergency Department, but the report has not been submitted yet. They said that the issue has been alive since March 2013, but hasn’t yet reached a fruitful conclusion. They alleged the corruption, paper leak, and favoritism in the total act.
While listening to their grievances, Sat Sharma added that BJP is committed to end the woes faced by the common masses. He said that it is a matter of grave concern that the youth as the powerhouse of the nation is upset and wary over the future. He immediately talked to the concerned persons and pressed for the early solution to their issue.
“LG must take cognizance of the whole matter and instruct the concerned department officials to end the issue with a respectable and acceptable solution as the delayed justice equals to the justice denied”, said Sat Sharma.
“We raised the issue earlier resulting in the formation of a committee and will press again for justice. The Modi Government is committed to justice to everybody. Youth must not be deprived of their rights. These applicants have the required proofs, and we will ensure that no injustice is done to them”, said Sat Sharma.
Ashwani Sharma said that the BJP has also earlier raised the issue of Fire and Emergency Department applicants. He added that the party leaders have followed their case and will ensure that the issue reaches a logical end while asking the administration to provide an amicable solution to the applicants.
