RAMBAN, May 10: District Magistrate Ramban has ordered an inquiry into the death of an infant due to the closure of New Type Public Health Center (NTPHC) Neel.
On receiving the preliminary report from Naib Tehsildar, Pogal Paristan regarding closure of NTPHC Neel on Monday and death of an infant due to negligence of staff, District Magistrate Ramban, Mussrat Islam has ordered an inquiry.
Additional District Development Commissioner, Ramban, Rajinder Kumar Sharma, has been appointed as an Inquiry Officer to inquire about the circumstances that led to the death of one infant girl of Mohammad Ramzan, resident of Zaradi Neel, Pogal Paristan at 3 pm on May 8, 2023.
Tehsildar, Pogal Paristan, Nasir Javed shall assist the Inquiry Officer, who shall submit his report along with recommendations within 10 days enabling District Magistrate’s office to proceed further in the matter.
