JAMMU, May 10: RS Pura Police today reunited a kidnapped girl with her family.
“Acting on a written complaint lodged by a man regarding kidnapping of her daughter by some unknown person, a case under FIR Number 67/2023 U/S 363/109 IPC was registered at Police Station RS Pura and investigation started,” a Police spokesman said.
He said during investigation a team of Police Station RS Pura led by SDPO RS Pura Nikhil Gogna assisted by SHO RS Pura Inspector Pawan Kumar, with the help of CCTV footages of the area, generated the input regarding the location of kidnapped girl and finally recovered her.
“Finally, the girl was handed over to her family members after completing all the medico-legal formalities,” the spokesman added.
