JAMMU, May 10: A young man allegedly committed suicide today by consuming some poisonous substance in Nagrota area of city outskirts.
“Dayal Singh (24) son of Rattan Singh, resident of Bamyal Dharbi Thanda Pani (Nagrota) was brought dead in Causality of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu by one of his relatives after he allegedly consumed something poisonous at his residence,” Police sources said.
They said the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites after conducting autopsy at GMCH Jammu while inquest proceeding in this connection was initiated at Police Station Nagrota.
