JAMMU, Nov 29: State president, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), Tulsi Dass Langeh has criticized the NC-Congress’s Coalition Government headed by Omar Abdullah for having failed on all fronts, whether it is control on price of essential commodities, unemployment or corruption.
The prices of essential commodities and the unemployment amongst the youth are increasing day by day while the corruption is rampant in the State, he said.
The BSP leader also criticized the predecessor Government of PDP-Congress led by Mufti Mohd Sayeed for befooling the people with false promises and toeing the line of separatist forces of Kashmir to reach the chair of power.
He further said that UPA led by Congress and NDA led by BJP are two faces of the same coin, as during the past 66 years, they have done nothing to improve the living standards of the people. He alleged that 15 crore people of the country are still living in jhuggi-jhonpris on the bank of dirty nallahs and other unhygienic places while 9 crore still sleep empty stomach during the night. On the other hand, China who got independence in 1950 after the independence of India is going to become world power in near future, he added.
Langeh was addressing workers’ meetings at Nowshera, Rajouri, Baseri and Sunderbani. He was accompanied by party’s State vice-president, RL Chargotra and coordinator, Jammu-Poonch Lok Sabha, BD Thapa.
Meanwhile, at Nowshera, Langeh nominated Advocate Haq Nawaz, who along with his supporters resigned from Congress and joined BSP, as coordinator of Nowshera constituency.
