Elaborate arrangements for Lalkaar rally: Kavinder

JAMMU, Nov 29: With just one day left for “Lalkaar Rally” of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to be addressed by its Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi at M.A. Stadium, here on December 1, the party today gave last shape to the arrangements including transportation, parking and related arrangement for convenience of the public.
BJP State general secretary, Kavinder Gupta, while addressing a press conference at party headquarters here along with BJP State secretary & rally incharge, Pawan Khajuria and State press secretary & Rally Media incharge Balbir Ram Rattan, said that adequate arrangements have been made for parking of vehicles, for the sitting of public inside the stadium, provision of drinking water, first-aid, security etc.
As far transport, Gupta said that the vehicles carrying the party activists and public from R.S. Pura, Samba, Kathua districts will be parked at WareHouse, near Old RTO office. Similarly, the vehicle from Kashmir, Doda, Kishtwar, Ramban, Udhampur, Reasi and Nagrota will be parked on B.C Road and General Bus Stand. The parking space at Science College will cater to the vehicles coming from Poonch, Rajouri, Sunderbani, Akhnoor areas.
Kavinder Gupta further said that the entry is unrestricted and open to all, nor are there any pre-conditions for entry. There has been no restriction on public intending to attend the rally and canards in this respect are spread by some vested elements, he added.
Gupta appealed the public to avoid carrying bags, large shoulder purses and other items which may create problem at the checking points. He expressed hope that the people will cooperate in making this rally as historic event.
Meanwhile a large two wheelers rally was organized by the Jammu West district today which was flagged by Kavinder Gupta in connection with the forthcoming “Lalkaar Rally”. The rally was led by Jammu West district president & general secretary Subash Jandial and Arvind Gupta respectively who said that the visit of Narendra Modi to Jammu has electrified the entire nationalist populace of the State.
The rally started from Rehari Chowk and after moving through Subash Nagar, Patoli, Paloura, Roop Nagar, Janipur, New Plot, Sarwal, Karan Nagar and culminated at party headquarters, Kachi Chawni, Jammu.
Anil Gupta, Ashwani Khosla, Sunil Chopra, Vivek Gupta, Dinesh Gupta, Balwan Singh, Daleep, Amreek Singh, Prem Gupta, Ajay Vaid, Varish Gupta, Krishan, Gaurav Magotra, Vishal Mahajan, Rinku Chauhan, Kanav Parotra, Anil Shawney, Rajat Gupta, Bhushan Kumar, Sunil Kumar, Raj Kumar and others were present in the two wheelers rally.
