J&K reports 9 new COVID cases

JAMMU, May 11: Jammu and Kashmir today reported 9 new COVID-19 positive cases, 5 from Jammu Division and 4 from Kashmir Division.
As per the reports, 2 COVID cases each were reported from Jammu and Shopian districts while 1 case each was reported from Udhampur, Kathua, Doda, Budgam and Kulgam.
A total of 2,616 COVID tests were conducted in the Union Territory in last 24 hours. The number of active COVID cases in the UT as on date is 110, 44 in Jammu Division and 66 in Kashmir Division whereas 34 COVID patients recovered today, 22 from Jammu Division and 12 from Kashmir.
The highest number of 21 active cases is in Jammu and Baramulla districts, 10 in Shopian, 9 in Anantnag, 8 cases each in Budgam and Udhampur, 7 each in Pulwama and Doda, 4 cases each in Ganderbal and Samba, 3 each in Srinagar and Bandipora, and 1 case each in Kulgam, Rajouri, Kathua, Poonch and Ramban districts.
