KU’s KUMSA continues winning spree

SRINAGAR, Nov 29: KUMSA cricket team of University of Kashmir continued its winning spree in the All India Vice Chancellors T-20 Cricket Tournament being organized by the Punjabi University in Patiala.
KUMSA played two matches against Mumbai and Delhi Universities and won both.
In the first match, KUMSA team beat Mumbai by 50 runs.
After winning the toss KUMSA elected to bat first to set a target of 168 runs. The highlights of the innings were 73 off 45 balls by Nadeem and 36 off 33 balls by Latief.
The Mumbai team was dismissed for 117 runs. Latief, Nadeem and Tariq took 3, 2 and 2 wickets respectively. Nadeem was declared man of the match for his brilliant knock.
While playing against Delhi the KUMSA after winning the toss elected to bat first and set a target of 149. Sagar Ahmad top scored with 45 runs. While chasing the target Delhi was restricted to 128 runs. Sagar Ahmad was declared man of the match for his contribution of 45 runs.
