9 passengers injured as minibus turns turtle

UDHAMPUR, May 11: Nine passengers were injured when an over- speeding minibus turned turtle near Panjgrain in Ramnagar, here today.
The minibus, bearing registration number JK14C-7147, was on its way from Udhampur to Nagrota Panjgrain when driver lost control over the vehicle, which skidded off the road and turned turtle.
A Police team, led by SHO Ramnagar, Sohan Singh rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to Sub District Hospital Ramnagar where doctors referred four of them to District Hospital Udhampur for advanced treatment.
The injured persons were identified as Asha Devi (30), wife of Anil Sharma of Dhanyal; Nisha Devi (32), wife of Pawan Chand of Barata; Sandhya Devi (40) wife of Ashok Singh of Pinger; Seema Devi (21), daughter of Ram Lal of Panjgrain; Gudi Devi (23), wife of Kulwant Singh of Hansa; Ankit (18 month old), son of Kulwant Singh of Hansa; Rahul Sharma (23), son of Hans Raj of Kuh Nallah; Darshana Devi (60), wife of Kirpal Singh of Kuh Nallah and Sushma Devi (42), wife of Majar Singh of Bansata
