KPS takes serious note of Mehbooba, Farooq’s statements

JAMMU, May 11: The Kashmiri Pandit Sabha (KPS) Jammu has taken serious exception to the insensitive, indiscreet and nearly anti-national statements made by former Chief Ministers Mehbooba Mufti and Dr Farooq Abdullah regarding the situation emanating in neighboring country Pakistan that it would have a direct bearing on the situation in Kashmir.
Their unfortunate and ugly statements on the eve of holding of prestigious G20 meeting in Kashmir Valley is a clear indicator of the diabolical semi separatism which both these leaders have been trying to patronize and promote in the wake of the abrogation of Articles 370&35A on 5th of August 2019. The two leaders and their political parties have always been raising the bogey that a stable and strong Pakistan would be in the best interests of our nation in general and Jammu and Kashmir in particular. This has been helpful to them in wielding and enjoying political power with impunity during the period when Articles 370&35A allowed them opportunity to serve their vested interests.
The Kashmiri Pandit Sabha Jammu advises the duo to accept the irreversible changes and move on to serve the best interests of the people of Jammu and Kashmir who have been directly benefited by the abrogation. Tourism has replaced terrorism especially in the strife torn Kashmir from where lacs had to flee away and thousands were killed when terrorism perpetrated with the support of Pakistan was all pervasive.
A weak and tottering Pakistan which is bound to disintegrate and crumble under its own weight will not only be in the best interests of our nation but it will also be in the best interests of the entire subcontinent.
