RAJOURI, May 11: A man has been arrested by police alongwith consignment of charas near Gurdan village in Rajouri area today.
A team of police headed by SHO Rajouri Mohammad Showket Chowdhary, under the supervision of Deputy SP Headquarter Mudassir Hussain, during naka on Gurdan road intercepted Eeco vehicle No. JK11F 2328 and on enquiring from the driver and frisking recovered 410 gms (21 rolls) charas.
The accused was identified as Mohd Junaid, son of Mohd Sharif, resident of Gadyog in Khawas. Rs 78550 cash was also recovered from the possession of accused person. Further investigation was launched. An FIR was registered in this connection.
