JAMMU, May 14: Shiv Sena Hindustan (SSH) J&K president, Pt. Rajesh Kesri here today framed Party’s new unit at village Deoli of Bishnah Block and appointed Rajendra Kumar as its president and Raj Kumari as Women Wing president.
Chanchala Devi has been appointed as vice president; Ritu Kumari, chairman; Lalita Kumari, general secretary; Anjali Kumari, secretary and Mosmi Bala, treasurer.
Prominent among those present on the occasion were Balveer Kumar, Balwant Fauji, Raj Kumar, Vishwanath, Labba Baba, Sanjeev Kumar, Rajesh Kumar, Darshana Devi, Rajni Devi, Jyoti Devi and Vijay Luthra.
Speaking on the occasion, Kesri said that drug menace is affecting both urban and rural areas.
“The availability and consumption of various kinds of drugs is on the rise, posing a severe threat to the youth,” he maintained adding that apart from the ongoing efforts of the authorities concerned, more is needed to be done in this regard.
