RAJOURI, May 15: The police in Thannamandi has worked out theft cases by recovering stolen property worth lakhs of rupees.
Official sources said that a police team headed by SHO Thannamandi, Hilal Azhar under the supervision of SDPO Thannamandi, Imtiaz Hussain arrested the thieves from Saj. They were involved in a number of theft cases in Rajouri and Thannamandi area.
The police was looking for them as they were involved in several theft cases in different areas of Rajouri and Thannamandi. They are identified as Mohd Tariq, son of Mohd Kabir, resident of Saj and Fehzaan Mehmood, son of Muzaffar Mehmood, resident of Nerojal, Saj.
A case FIR No. 54/2023, U/S 380 IPC has been registered at Police Station Thannamandi.
SHO Hilal Azhar told that on their disclosure a camera valued Rs 1,50,000 has been recovered while further investigation is in progress.
