NC calls for unity against divisive forces

BATOTE, May 15: National Conference (NC) District president Ramban, Sajjad Shaheen today called for unity among people against forces which attempt to destroy our State and divide its people.
Addressing a day-long convention of delegates here Shaheen pointed out that nowadays people of J&K are facing crisis and are worried if their democratic, constitutional and fundamental rights will continue to exist.
He said that communal forces are destined to get decimated in the ensuing Assembly elections whenever these are held in J&K.
Shaheen described NC as a deep rooted public movement striving for assuaging the politico-developmental aspirations of all people.
On this occasion several political workers including youth from various parties joined NC and resolved to strengthen the party.
Those who spoke on the occasion were District NC secretary Ramban, Mohd Arif Mir; District vice presidents-Abid Magrey, Arjun Singh Raju, Babar Malik, Abdul Majid Mir and others.
