J&K reports 12 new COVID cases

JAMMU, May 16: Jammu and Kashmir today reported 12 fresh COVID-19 positive cases, 3 from Jammu Division and 9 from Kashmir.
As per the reports, highest number of 5 COVID cases was reported from Anantnag district, followed by 3 from Budgam and 1 case each from Jammu, Udhampur, Doda and Ganderbal districts. A total of 1,443 COVID tests were conducted in the Union Territory in last 24 hours. The number of active COVID cases in the UT as on date is 98, 69 in Jammu Division and 29 in Kashmir Division whereas 25 COVID patients recovered today, 13 from Jammu Division and 12 from Kashmir.
The maximum number of 34 active cases is in Jammu district, 14 in Udhampur, 8 in Doda, 7 cases each in Baramulla, Anantnag and Ramban districts, 4 each in Srinagar, Budgam and Ganderbal, 2 each in Shopian, Rajouri and Kathua, and 1 case each in Kulgam, Samba and Poonch districts.
