This has reference to the article ‘Law and order under Dogra Maharaja Gulab Singh’ published in Daily Excelsior. The writer of this article has used highly objectionable words like “Sikh were less barbarically cruel comparing with Mughal”. The writer seems to have forgotten that Dogra rule was established on the mercy of Sikh rule and its strong support. The Sikh rule under M Ranjeet Singh was one of the best secular administration in History.
The writer must be cautious while writing such articles in future to avoid any controversy.
