UDHAMPUR, May 18: Sarveshwar Smile Foundation – a J&K based NGO engaged in social activities, today started third `Women Stitching & Salaie Training Centre’ at village Meer Pancheri, District Udhampur.
The programme was inaugurated by Pooja Gupta, chairperson of Sarveshwar Smiles Foundation, a leading entrepreneur, business woman & a social worker. While inaugurating the one month free training activities at doorstep of women residing in and around Meer area, she conveyed her satisfaction & appreciation for the trainee of Chulana village who have just completed their one month training programme. She appreciated the discipline and efforts put by Kailash Devi who was not only trainer but also a torch bearer for others.
Pooja Gupta conveyed that Sarveshwar Smiles Foundation is committed to bring smile on the faces of women community at large & reiterated her commitment for free of cost one month training on embroidery , cutting & tailoring at the doorstep of needy women followed with marketing of finished products.
“We are going to organize 10- such income generating training camps at various places preferably in border areas with follow up to ensure income generation activity at doorstep of trainee,” said Pooja Gupta . She also informed that Sarveshwar Smile Foundation has been formed to propagate awareness among farming community about organic farming, financial literacy & income generation activity.
Sarveshwar Smile Foundation propagates all its development ventures through its satellite facilitation centres located at Uddeywala, Palloura, Pallanwala, Jhiri, R S Pura and Pargwal. Three more such centers are going to be opened at field level.
Dr Rakesh Gupta, Project Director of Sarveshwar Smiles Foundation, in his address, informed about plantation drive in coordination with Sanjeevini Jan Kalyan Sewa Samiti from Pancheri area.
Sarveshwar Smiles Foundation specially acknowledge the support provided by Bhim Singh, Headmaster of Govt Middle School Meer Sarti & Khajoor Singh of Sanjeevini Jan Kalyan Sewa Samiti.
Dr Gaytri Tandon, Head Organic Department, highlighted the benefits of organic farming in sustainable agriculture ecosystem. The programme was also addressed by Rajinder Sharma, Manager SBI Panchari who also assured full support to Sarveshwar Smiles Foundation in such ventures. The programme was coordinated by Surat Singh, Aman Gupta and Radhey.
