Training for farmers, mushroom entrepreneurs concludes

JAMMU, May 18: The three day orientation cum training programme organized for the farmers and mushroom entrepreneurs by Mushroom Development Scheme Jammu concluded here today.
The training programme module was designed with all the theoretical as well practical classes.
The trainees were provided with all relevant information to become mushroom growers with concept of business entrepreneurs in mushroom cultivation practices for all round the year.
Techniques for cultivation of Button, Dhingri and Milky Mushroom were taught to the batch of 20 young, educated and qualified youths having the qualification of MBA, engineering and other sciences.
Group discussion was also held among the old regular mushroom growers with the newly interested growers to know about the technology for making the mushroom cultivation a success.
K.K Sharma, Director Agriculture Jammu presided over the valedictory function and appreciated the youngsters for taking agriculture/mushroom as business entrepreneurs.
Certificates were given to all the participants for attending the training.
Sanjay Dhar, Mushroom Development Officer Jammu thanked the participants for making the training programme a grand success and promised more such trainings for rural educated youths in near future.
Kamaljeet Sharma, SMS-III; S. Bhupinder Singh and Mohan Singh provided logistic support and conducted the technical session.
