Indonesia’s annual inflation picks up slightly in Nov

JAKARTA, Dec 2:   Indonesia’s annual inflation picked up slightly in November against October due to rising costs of transport, jewellery and food, the statistics bureau said today.

The consumer price index rose 8.37 percent from a year earlier, against October’s rate of 8.32 percent.

Bank Indonesia estimates 2013 inflation will be below its target of 9-9.8 percent.

A Reuters poll had projected November’s consumer price index to come in at 8.48 percent.  (AGENCIES)
