KISHTWAR, May 20: Police here today rescued six bovine animals and arrested a bovine smuggler.
On special tip, SSP Kishtwar, Khalil Poswal constituted a special team of cops from Police Station Chatroo.
The team was led by Inspector Parvaiz Ahmed Khanday and assisted by PSI Moin Khan under the supervision of Dy.SP DAR Sajjad Khan and it laid a Naka at Khanpora.
During checking at Naka cops rescued six bovine animals at Khanpora and arrested a bovine smuggler who was in the process of taking these animals to Kashmir valley without any valid permission.
In this connection, a case in FIR No. 33/2023 and 37/2023 under the relevant section of law stands registered at Police Station Chatroo.
