SAMBA, May 21: A youth died while the condition of another is critical in a road accident that took place in Penthi village of Samba today.
According to the information, both the youths were travelling on a motorcycle and as soon as they reached near Penthi village, the motorcycle skidded off the road and both of them were injured seriously. With the help of the local people they were brought to the District Hospital, Samba where after the primary treatment, they were referred to Government Medical Hospital (GMCH) Bakshi Nagar, Jammu for better treatment.
But one youth died after reaching Vijaypur while on way to GMC Jammu. The deceased has been identified as 24-year-old Rinku Kumar, son of Manohar Lal of Naid, Nud Samba while the injured youth has been identified as Mintu Kumar, son of Ram Chand also of Naid, Nud Samba.
In this context, the police have also registered a case and started investigation.
