UDHAMPUR, Dec 2: Udhampur Police today foiled an attempt of bovine smuggling and rescued two animals besides arresting the accused.
Based on reliable information, a Police party from PP Tikri intercepted one Tata Mobile vehicle bearing registration number JK02BC-7617, which was on its way from Jammu to Kashmir. Two bovine animals were found loaded in the vehicle. Police arrested the accused namely Kuldeep Singh of R S Pura Jammu and seized the vehicle.
In this connection, a case under Section 188/RPC 3PCA Act has been registered at Police Station Rehmbal.
