JAMMU, May 22: Akhil Bhartiya Mahajan Shiromani Sabha Jammu Kashmir Zone today organized a conference of Mahajan community sub-castes (Biradaris) with the purpose to foster amity and understanding amongst the members of the community.
The conference began with the three-time recitation of Gayatri Mantra. After lighting of lamp and offering rich floral tribute to the founder of ABMSS, Sher-e-Duggar Lala Hans Raj Mahajan, Zonal President ABMSS JK, Mahesh Gupta welcomed all the office bearers and representatives of Mahajan biradaris attending the conference and apprised them about the purpose of the conference.
After proper introduction of all the participants, Presidents of all the Biradaris presented their view points with regard to strengthening the base of ABMSS in Jammu Kashmir Union Territory.
Finally, it was decided that the suggestions received in the conference shall be deliberated in the next meeting in detail to draw guidelines for the future agenda to follow.
The conference was attended by the office bearers and the representatives of various Biradaris, including Bhangwathia, Beotra, Chandra, Chukarna, Feria, Ghunkadu, Gadhra, Jandial, J Jandial, Jugenal, Kabotra, Kailu, Kalsotra, Kanghal, Kankal, Kankhal, Khameriya, Lakhotra, Lamme Radotra, Langer, Ledhe, Manglooria, Mohtra, Paba, Pabba, Pachyala, Padotra, Pandi, Parbhaga, Pargaal, Paroch, Pedhe, Phagetra, Phawa, Piddoo, Regra, Rohmetra, Swar and Vaid.
Suman K Gupta presented vote of thanks and Ram Langer, General Secretary ABMSS JK Zone conducted proceedings of the conference. Rakesh Mahajan, Sunil Mahajan, Ranjan Gupta, CA Krishan Gupta and Rajesh Gupta played major role to make the event successful and memorable.
