JAMMU, May 25: The Jammu and Kashmir Police Headquarters today ordered promotion of 133 Sub Inspectors (SIs) of Executive Cadre to the next rank of Inspector.
A press statement said that the promotion of the SIs was ordered after recommendation of the Departmental Promotion Committee and thorough scrutiny of the service record of the police officers.
Those who have been promoted to the next rank are Abdul Hamid Najar, Devinder Singh, Surinder Kumar, Abdul Kabir, Kanshi Ram, Manzoor Ahmad, Farooq Ahmad, Karamjeet Singh, Farooq Ahmad Khan, Vinod Kumar, Reyaz Ahmad, Imtiaz Ahmad, Hafizullah Malik, Reyaz Ahmad, Pritam Singh, Ram Rattan, Tariq Ahmad Wani, Zahid Ahmad Kana, Sukhbir Singh, Ashok Kumar, Mohammad Sharief, Ishtiyaq Ahmad, Sham Lal, Mohammad Ashraf, Mohammad Javid, Mohammad Alyas, Abdul Karim, Razak Ahmad, Surinder Kumar, Sunil Dutt, Jagir Singh, Daljeet Singh, and Raj Kumar.
The DGP Dilbag Singh has congratulated the promoted officers and their families. He has hoped that the promotion will serve as an inspiration for the officers to perform their duties with enhanced dedication and zeal.
