DEA takes up issues with Rasool

JAMMU, Dec 3: All J&K Diploma Engineers Association (DEA) deputation led by its president Upinder Singh met Vikar Rasool, Minister of State Technical Education (independent charge) and apprised him about the issues confronting diploma engineers.
While speaking, Singh demanded 20 per cent quota earmarked for diploma engineers in promotions should be adhere to in letter and spirit in the promotions list at every level.
Minister gave patient hearing to the demands and assured of every possible step to ensure maintenance of 20 per cent quota due to the diploma engineers.
Among others present were Vijay Kumar, general secretary and Rakesh Goswami, joint secretary.
