8 injured in clash over land

JAMMU, Dec 3: Eight members of two families were injured in clash triggered by a dispute over piece of land in Channu Chack area, falling under the jurisdiction of Kanachack Police Station.
As per sources, eight persons of two families namely Jyoti and Suda, daughters of Raj Kumar, resident of Channu Chak, Raj Kumar and Jeet Lal, sons of Indru Ram of Halka Marh, Raj Kumari, daughter of Nanta Ram of Channu Chack, Ajay Kumar, son of Bua Ditta, Bua Ditta, son of Anand Ram and Bimla Devi, wife of Bua Ditta, trio residents of Channu Chack were injured in a clash over a piece of land in Channu Chak area, falling under the jurisdiction of Kanachack Police Station.
On getting information, police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where their condition was stated to be stable, when last reports came in.
A case has been registered at Police Station Kanachack and investigation started.
