SAMBA, Dec 3: The Rehari and Phari holders of Samba town held a protest demonstration today against the Samba Municipality for evicting them from the market.
The protestors were demanding allotment of shops or land to them for establishing their small business to earn the bread and butter for their families.
The demonstration was led by Kulvir Singh president of the union. Later a delegation of the Union called on DC Samba and apprised him of their problem created due to their eviction by Municipal Committee. They demanded immediate allotment of land or shops to them so that they can run their small business to keep their body and soul together.
