JAMMU, Dec 3: Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia today moved a Breach of Privilege Motion against Labour and Employment Minister Ajay Sadhotra for reportedly mentioning his name after department secretary while speaking at an official function.
Mankotia alleged that the minister had violated the protocol by not mentioning his name at the proper place.
“It is, therefore, requested that a Breach of Privilege Motion against the Minister for Labour and Employment be issued and seek his explanation on the matter and take action as warranted under the law,” Mankotia said in the motion submitted to Assembly Speaker Mubarak Gul.
According to the complaint, the minister, in his inaugural speech at the two-day Employment Fair at Udhampur, “deliberately” addressed the Secretary for Labour and Employment, BA Runial, before mentioning the name of Mankotia.
