JAMMU, Dec 4: The police has detained six persons including a girl in connection with the murder of a youth in Akhnoor town.
The dead body of the deceased Parshotam alias Pidhu had been recovered from the bushes near San Francis School on Jourian-Khour Road in Akhnoor town on Tuesday. The body had serious head injury marks and been thrown into the bushes.
A police officer said that on the basis of some clues, six persons including a girl have been lifted. They have been placed under sustained interrogation. He said these persons were said to be associated with him. Pidhu had liquor at a local Dhaba with a few of them on Monday late evening. Thereafter, he went missing. The police claimed that case will be solved within a day or two.
