JAMMU, May 30: Lakhbir Singh Sohal has been elected as chairman while Santosh Kumar Sharma as president of Ex-servicemen Welfare Association Akhnoor Sub District.
A meeting of the Ex-servicemen of sub district Akhnoor including retired defence personnel from Jourian, Khour, Mera Mandriyan and Chowki Choura today, wherein a new Management Committee of Ex-servicemen was elected unanimously.
Lakhbir Singh Sohal was elected as chairman, Santosh Kumar Sharma as president, Banarasi Lal, Ruvail Singh, Uttam Chand , Parabh Dayal and Bodh Raj as vice presidents; Sham Lal and Rashpal Singh as general secretaries; Om Parkash Kalidass, Gurmukh Singh as joint secretaries; Kaka Ram office secretary, Parkash Chand treasurer while Ramesh Chander, Janak Raj and Vijay Kumar as Press/ Media secretary besides others. .
