Aijaz kick-starts work on Kund-Judda road

JAMMU, Dec 4: Minister of State for Revenue, Relief & Rehabilitation, Aijaz Ahmad Khan today kick-started the work on 23 kilometre long road from Kund to Upper Judda via Pattian in Reasi district.
To be built at a cost of Rs. 22 crore, the road would benefit thousands of inhabitants of these areas in Reasi district, particularly in Mahore Sub Division.
Addressing the gathering on the occasion, the Minister said the Government has embarked on a massive developmental and infrastructural plan for the State, particularly far flung and hilly areas.
Mr. Aijaz asked people to cooperate with the Government in its developmental initiatives and bringing a developmental turnaround in the State. He said the Government has undertaken a comprehensive programme of connecting areas and people by way of constructing various new roads and bridges and introducing new welfare schemes. He added that the Central Government has been liberal enough in extending financial support for these schemes.
