PC demands Bus Stand for Ganderbal, expresses concern over rising corruption

SRINAGAR, Dec 4: People’s Conference (PC) has expressed grave concern over the failure of Government to construct a Bus Stand in Ganderbal which has been given the district status over six years back.
In its meeting at Wakoora today held under the chairmanship of Ghulam Mohammed Bhat a local leader of the party, the speakers took the Government to task for not paying any attention towards the development of the district. They said that the Ganderbal sans a Bus  Stand and Government was not taking interest in the same.
The meeting also expressed concern over back door appointments in various Government Departments and alleged that the increasing corruption and price hike has broken the back of common masses.
It said the J&K has earned the dubious distinction of being the number one State in corruption and the coalition has failed to take corrective measures to put the State back on rails.
The meeting while supporting Indo-Pak friendship stressed good neighbourly relations with Pakistan for everlasting peace in Sub Continent.
The party general secretary Rashid Mehmood was the special guest in the meeting which was also addressed by Mir Ghulam Rasool Butwani district coordinator, Mohammed Kamal Malik, Suliman Bhat, Fiyaz Alam, Sheikh Kaman Din Shilvati and others.
